Here in Great Falls we are of course are known for our falls. A quick note about visiting THE Great Falls (otherwise known as Ryan Dam). The bridge to access Ryan Island, which provides the best vantage point to view the falls, closes for the season after Labor Day until Mother’s Day. Not to worry though, you can still see the falls from the parking area at Ryan Dam. You’ll just want to make a trip back to Great Falls in June to see the falls at their finest!
