The UFO phenomenon and the subject of extraterrestrial life have been examined in many television programs and films within the boundaries of science fiction. On the other hand, especially in recent years, the developments in space technologies and the intense interest of scientists in planets other than Earth have led to the production of many documentaries on ufology. The documentary Contact is the first documentary to address the cases of extraterrestrial life in Anatolia. In the documentary, the historical formation of the contact cases experienced in Turkey is examined in the context of the reality dimension of the ufology phenomenon. The story of the documentary Contact is addressed in a multifaceted manner, from ancient structures in Anatolia to historical events and UFO videos to individual contacts. The documentary Contact is based on the experiences and opinions of distinguished academics, retired officers, archaeologists, art historians, television broadcasters, journalists, UFO researchers, metaphysics experts, and contactees who have had contact with extraterrestrial beings.

Friday Short Film Block One

What happened after an Earth astronaut left a family photo on the moon fifty-plus years ago? This animated short explores the butterfly effect of such an action. How will it affect us all?

A senile old man wakes up after falling into an abandoned potato cellar. Trapped in the pit, the old man is tortured by the voice of his long-gone wife as he desperately schemes to make his escape.

Isabelle Johnson (1901-1992): artist, rancher, teacher. In this film, three young women imagine her ghostly presence, re-inhabiting the very land she loved, their action framed by Patrick Dougherty’s fantastical installation that weaves local willows–the lines with which he draws–into new spaces as chambers to house our collective imagination.

Shot on location at The Tippet Rise Arts Center in Fishtail, MT, a 12,500-acre working ranch that is home to large-scale sculptural installations set throughout the land and a summer concert series featuring internationally acclaimed musicians. Tippet Rise is anchored in the belief that art, music, architecture, and nature are intrinsic to the human experience, each making the others more powerful.

“As you walk around the ranch, it’s clear that Isabelle’s spirit lives here. You can feel it in the rustle of the grass and the howls of the wind as the bright Montana sun slips behind the gothic mountains.”

– Cathy and Peter Halstead, Tippet Rise Founders, 2015

However, Holly is one exception. Heartbroken after being dumped for her “old school taste”, her brain was left open for Blacky’s entrance, embarking them both on a journey that’ll change their lives forever…

The team of four, led by believer Dennis and skeptic Jared, searches a bookstore known for unexplained encounters. Their SLS camera locks onto entities in the same locations reported by the owner, hinting at something unwilling to leave.

The Great Falls community is shaken when newly uncovered footage reveals the chilling events that led to the deaths and disappearances of ten friends constructing a haunted house inside a local pub with a dark past. What was once dismissed as a string of tragic accidents now tells a far more unsettling story. As the footage unfolds, one question haunts the town: was this the work of something paranormal—or something even more sinister?
