Parade of Lights moving down Central Avenue in Downtown Great Falls, Montana

Only in November in Great Falls, Montana!

We’ve witnessed both falling leaves and falling snow over the past month, signaling a change in seasons and the fast-approaching holidays!  In fact, the unofficial sign that we’re ready for winter here is when our Park and Recreation staff move the beloved resident birds of Gibson Pond to the Honker Hilton for their cold weather stay.  You can witness this annual tradition every October.

Whether you’re looking for shopping, concerts, exercise, or history, there’s plenty of things to do.  As always there’s a plethora of events in November, but we’re featuring the things you can only find in Great Falls!

Obviously Great Falls isn’t the only place you can find fantastic local shops on Small Business Saturday, but we think it’s a pretty great place to do your holiday shopping!  Check out all the places you can explore here.  We have so many things to say about shopping in Great Falls that we did a two-part podcast series on it.  Listen to episodes 130 & 131 of We’re No Dam Experts now!
