May is one of our favorite months of the year in Great Falls. Why? May means it’s time for a Great Falls signature event – The Greatest Dam Mimosa Showdown! The 5th annual showdown is happening May 18th, 2024! The Mimosa Showdown tantalizes your tastebuds with one-of-a-kind creations at more than 16 participating bars and restaurants. To wet your palate, here are the names of a few contenders: Buzz Boba Mimosa, Orange Creamsicle Mimosa, Smoked Peach and Cinnamon Mimosa, Hatter’s Delight, Tropical Thai Butterfly Pea Flower Mimosa, and The Dirty Monkey. New this year – hydration stations around town! Sample as many mimosas as you’d like and vote for your favorite. Plan your day and see the full list of contenders! Beer lovers and runners unite for the Brewhaha Run Series put on by RaceMT! This isn’t an event exclusive to May, but we didn’t want you to miss out on the fun! Every 3rd Thursday through October join runners, walkers, and bikers on a section of the River’s Edge Trail! After you’ve conquered the bridge loop portion, it’s time for your reward! The May meetup is happening at the Pit Stop Tavern. Cheers!
The boys of summer are back! The Great Falls Voyagers host their home opener on Tuesday May 21st against the Billings Mustangs. You can watch them in action throughout the summer at Voyager Stadium. Meet mascot Orbit, enjoy Sunday Brunch at the ballpark, watch fireworks after the game on the 4th of July, and so much more!
