The Sun River Historical Society helps preserve the history of the Sun River Valley – but what would really interest you is the Historic Fort Shaw, located in Fort Shaw, Montana. It has a pretty eclectic past, starting as a military installation, housing an Indian Reformatory School, then a public school. It’s worth some time to visit for you history buffs.
