With 53 total miles of trail, and growing, along the banks of the mighty Missouri River, you can hike, bike, or just stroll. There are 27 works of art along the trail and it is possible to walk past all 5 falls using the trail system. Portions of the trail are paved, portions of the trail are dirt, and portions of the trail are gravel. The River’s Edge Trail has 22 spots to park and access the trail from. There is a section of the trail called The Mayhem Trails which is Great Falls’ premier expert trail riding experience. The trail is available for year-round recreation activities.
