Horse Racing

It’s that time of the year to bet on the ponies! Great Falls is one of only two places in Montana where you can experience live horse racing (the other happened in May). Get ready to enjoy three weekends of heart-pounding excitement. The Tourism Team isn’t taking the mortgage to the track, but the few bucks we spent was a pretty fun time. First-timers will get a lot of help! If you want our tips, feel free to reach out. Tickets for 13, 14, 20, and 21 go on sale June 26 at the Montana ExpoPark ticket office. Gates open at noon. The July 27, 28 horse racing is part of the Montana State Fair entertainment, so your general admission ticket to the fair gets you into horse racing at no additional cost.
