Extreme & Living Colour

Calling all rockers…come out, come out, wherever you are. You are in for a treat with this show, you could even call it two for one night at The Newberry. There probably isn’t much that I can add to what you already know about Extreme. Their song Play With Me appeared in the cult classic Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, maybe you didn’t know that. Who on this planet doesn’t know the Extreme song, More Than Words? Along with Extreme, we are treated to the wildly popular Living Colour. Their music is a fusion of heavy metal, hip-hop, funk, punk, jazz, and alternative rock. Researching both of these bands made writing this very difficult, they both have long and interesting biographies. Doors open at 6:00 PM.
