American concert pianist Richard Dowling may be an unfamiliar name for you. After you watch his performance, you will wish you had known about him sooner. For your listening enjoyment, Dowling will perform musical compositions popular in 1916 and 1917, close your eyes as his fingers magically tickle the ivories on the Belt Performing Arts Center’s own 1917 Steinway Piano. Dowling appears across the country playing a variety of music, from Ragtime/Jazz, chamber music and many festivals. Doors open 1 hour before performance.
