Giant Springs State Park

This is Montana’s most visited state park. It is home to Giant Springs, hence the name the park. Giant Springs in the world’s largest natural spring that flows at 156 million gallons of water per day and remains a constant 54 degrees Fahrenheit. In additional to the spring, this park is also home to the world’s shortest river, the Roe, and is next to North America’s Longest River, the Missouri. This is the only place in the world you can get that unique trifecta! The River’s Edge Trail runs through it. There is a fish hatchery at the park, with a great visitor information center about the hatchery. Bring some quarters so you can feed the fish during your visit. The final unique thing about this park. . . . it is likely the only place in the world that has a functioning bridge without railings. Shhhh, don’t tell any engineers, it’s a lovely feature in the park!
