Sandra Johnson-Thares, the owner of the Sip ‘n Dip, joins as the Mermaid Expert. She answers all of Rebecca and Mari’s questions about Toby Keith, Old Dominion, Governor Steve Bullock, and her ongoing efforts to get Channing Tatum in the mermaid tank.

In 1996, Sandra’s dad said she would live to regret putting mermaids in the pool because of all the work. It costs about $300 to make a tale, and takes Sandra 40 hours to complete them.

Silicone tales look cool, but you really can’t get deep with them in the pool because they float.

Disney gave their seaweed to Sandra after she wrote letter asking.

Tom Gilleon created the Sipus et Dipus and he has work at the C.M. Russell Museum too.

Originally, there were bubblers in front of the windows to cover “questionable things” happening in the pool.

Famous people swim in the pool Mayor Kelly swam in the pool twice. Aaron Tippin swam in the tank to raise funds for a Veteran fundraiser. Old Dominion swam in the tank, and have the mermaids in their music videos.

The Black Lillies did music videos at the Sip ‘n Dip Lounge. Max Costa filmed Santa Rosa Fangs in the lounge too.

The Best Bar in America is filmed at the Sip ‘n Dip.

National Geographic named the Sip ‘n Dip the Best Bar.

Great Falls, Montana misses our Canadian’s visitors to the north, so dam much.
