The Chinook Winds is the resident wind quintet of the Great Falls Symphony in Montana and deliver their art with an energy and precision that astounds the ear and sincere and joyous enthusiasm.

In the Kammermusik Konzert, they present traditional wind quintets by German composers. Hanns Eisler immigrated to the U.S. in the 1930s. Though he missed his native soil, the bitterness he felt is not reflected in his music. His Divertimento is a tasty dish of modernist chamber music. Theodor Blumer puts the horn at center stage in one of the four wind quintets he produced while a successful composer and conductor in Dresden.
