In honor of “Back to School” Season, whether that’s at home or in class, we wanted to school you on the ABC’s of Great Falls, Montana. Would you change any of the letters?

A is for ArtsFest Montana! We just finished this year’s edition and are loving the new art installations around town.
B is for Basecamp. Great Falls is Montana’s Basecamp for Art & Adventure. Don’t believe us? See for yourself.
C is for Charlie Russell. We are kinda obsessed with him, and for good reason.
D is for is for Day Hike. We have so many of them. Here are four that you should try.
E is for The Eventory. We always have something going on; you should join us.
F is for is for the First Peoples Buffalo Jump. It’s the largest in America and waiting for you to see the sunsets there.
G is for the Great Falls of Great Falls Montana. Or is it for Giant Springs State Park? We couldn’t decide.
H is for History, from our rich mining history, to art, museums, and our interpretive center.
I is for the Ice Breaker Road Race!
J is for Josephine Trigg. There wouldn’t be a C.M. Russell Museum here if it wasn’t for her.
K is for KellerGeist Pub Theater, one of the best places to get a craft cocktail or German beer.
L is for Lewis and Clark. They spent 32 day portaging the falls here!
M is for Mermaids. That one was easy. Or wait, is it for the Missouri River?
N is for Nature Photography – it’s one of the main reasons people come visit Great Falls. We have diverse landscapes and stunning views that beg to be captured.
O is for Open Seating. You don’t need reservations when in Great Falls (except for Mermaid Breakfast). Spend less time planning and more time enjoying.
P is for Paris Gibson, the founder of Great Falls and alleged accomplice in the murder of his wife.
Q is for Quickdraw. Cowboys used to do it here, but artists still do.
R is for the River’s Edge Trail. We love it, and you will too.
S is for for the Sluice Boxes State Park. Make sure to check out the changing colors there this fall.
T is for is taking a trip here!
