Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art invites you to kick off Western Art Week in Great Falls. This year’s programming features a reception for Continuum: Contemporary American Indian Art from the MAM Collection with guest curator Nikolyn Garner on Wednesday, March 20 from 5-7 PM, a High Noon Fashion Show featuring designs by Alisa Herodes, Little Shell Chippewa Cree, on Thursday, March 21 at noon, live artist demonstration with Edd Enders on Saturday, March 23 from noon to 2 PM, gallery sales, and 6 exhibitions showcasing Montana artists: Sheila Miles, Edd Enders, Monica Thompson, Terry Karsos, and Lee Steen. Galleries open at 10 AM Monday through Friday, Noon to 5 PM Saturday and closed Sunday. Entrance to the Museum and its events are FREE.

The 15th annual Great Falls Western Collectibles & Antique Show will be held in the Exhibition Hall at Montana ExpoPark in Great Falls. Make your hotel reservations early! Frank Towsley’s Ruana Knife Display will be a special feature this year. This show holds the largest Ruana display in the world and will be a great show draw. All merchandise is limited to antique and collectible firearms, western memorabilia, Indian relics, edged weapons, gambling items, artwork, collector books, and glassware. The 38th Annual Western Heritage Art Show Footprints on the Trail Art Show is an eclectic, more contemporary group of more than 60 Western Heritage Artists. At this show, the longest continuously running show during Western Art Week in Great Falls Montana, you’ll find work in a wide variety of genres, from painting and sculpture to woodcarving, metal, wheat, earth art, mixed media, old paper art, photography and leather, a lobby show, live Music, and events. Admission to all WHA shows is free. 65 Artists will exhibit on two floors of art open into a large atrium. This spaciousness makes navigation easy for buyers and helps them feel relaxed.
