The CMR Performing Arts Department proudly presents Roger’s and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music in the Bill Williamson Hall Auditorium.

The Sound of Music is the story of Maria, who is dispatched from a convent to serve as governess for the seven children of a widowed naval captain. Maria and the Captain von Trapp fall in love and marry. Upon returning from their honeymoon, they discover that Austria has been invaded by the Nazis, who demand the captain’s immediate service in their navy. The von Trapp’s narrow escape over the mountains to Switzerland provides one of the most thrilling and inspirational finales ever presented in the theatre.

Tickets are $10 general admission. For ticket information please call 268-6117.
