Paris Gibson Square’s theater troupe is traveling to the newly renovated Belt Performing Arts Center with The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance stage performance. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance is a 2014 stage play by Jethro Compton based on the 1953 short story of the same name by Dorothy M Johnson that became the basis for the 1962 film with the same name and directed by John Ford. The play is billed as “classic story of good versus evil, law versus the gun, one man versus Liberty Valance. A tale of love, hope and revenge set against the vicious backdrop of a lawless society.”

Tickets are $23 and available at Paris Gibson Square, Harvest Moon Saloon, Hoglund’s Western Wear, and Kaufmans.
